Kakojan College has established an “Organic Model Garden and Input Unit” in its extended area as a part of extension activities. The College now offers short term career-oriented, agro-based programmes to help address the need for implementation of environmental agricultural practices.

Axum Agri NGO, Margherita
Over the years, Axum Agri arranged numerous opportunities for Fertile Ground team members to meet with farmers and families from a number of small rural villages to share information about organic and traditional farming practices. Above: a visit to Jagun village in Margherita subdivision.
